Reviews

"The Orchid Tribute was oily with a strong tea flavor. Easily outperformed most small-brand puers I've had from this era.

The Dragon Phoenix Tribute's texture was a bit more restrained than I expected, but it had better late steeps than the Orchid Tribute."

90s Fook Luk Tribute was the highlight for me. Good backbone, strong camphor, durable throat feel and stomach coating. It took me two days to steep out this tea. Really impressive!"

"2000s Spring Orchid:This had a luxurious texture. Floral perfume in a cup. Mineral notes. Very interesting. Very tasty. Seems like excellent material, got better and better as it steeped out. By the end steeps it was strongly pushing into throat and had a sugary sweetness.

90s Dragon Phoenix seemed partway between these two in terms of its age progression... Your consistent and amazing storage is not something I have experienced and the underlying material seems so much nicer than factory teas from the same era.

90s Fun Look - Cherrywood, medicinal, camphor. This has aged so elegantly, I was shocked... Towards the late steeps the core tea had a more bright and sugary sweet profile... If this one was in my budget, I'd fill my storage with cakes of it. But the price truly makes sense, this is a masterpiece. Easily one of the best teas I have ever had."

"Legendary tea for the most special moments.

The most discerning tea drinkers have special teas to sip, but when they get together with their tea friends, they always want something special to blow everyone’s minds.

GHS teas, in my experience, have gone way beyond expectations, and represent a level of access that we could only dream of until very recently. "
